RSS All India Executive Council Meet of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh begins at Sharda Vihar Awasiya Vidyayala Bhopal today. In the meeting, the expansion of Sangh work, exchanging the experience, achievement of any work in the state will be shared/presented in the meet. Action plan for the next three years will also be discussed, said Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, RSS Akhil Bharatha Prachar Pramuk at the press conference on October 11. Shri Narendra Singh Thakur, RSS Akhil Bharatha Sah Prachar Pramuk and Shri Ashok Agarwal, Prant Karyawah were present. State Presidents, State Organizers, State Secretaries of RSS – around 300 from 42 prants will be attending the Executive Council Meet. Earlier in the meeting of the Executive Board, the officers of various organizations were also involved.The meeting of officials of various organizations has been held in Vrindavan. RSS National bearers of organizations like Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Kisan Sangh, Vidya Bharati and BJP will be attending this meet. In this meet, only action plan of Sangh activities will be discussed. Also the work done in the last six months will be evaluated and the achievements will be presented. In the past year, the work of the RSS has increased rapidly. At present, the shakas are operating at almost 50 thousand places. In Sangh, the election of Sarkaryavah is done every three years. The term of the present General Secretary is being completed in March 2018. With this vision, the next three year plan will be considered in the meeting. In response to a question, he said that on the anniversary of Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak, on VijayaDashami, there has been discussion among intellectuals in 20 places. The Sangh interacts with the enlightened class from time to time. The Sangh wants that other organizations and individuals come in the field of social organization and person building. In yet another question on the recent Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on RSS, Dr.Vaidya said, “Deliberately concocted baseless reports appeared in some media that RSS will consider entry of women in shakhas (reportedly). RSS works with men only in Shakas and through them we connect with their families. Shakha work among women is being conducted by Rashtra Sevika Samiti. In all programs and campaign in society, women also are participating. Women create an atmosphere of co-operation in families to support RSS.” He further said that RSS by its constitution is not a political party for Congress to compare with. They should compete with BJP which is political.
